My dream job would have to be playing in the NBA. This would be amazing because of three reasons, money, you can meet all the other players, and I could invite my family to watch my games. The reason I want the money is because it pays a lot. With the money I could buy a big house and give some to my family if they ever need it. I could also make my own shoe brand or donate to people in need. The reason I would want to meet the other players is because at the moment, some players I like are, Anthony Edwards, Victor Wembanyama, Jalen Johnson, Luka Doncic, and many more players but it will be so cool to possibly one day play against or with them. If they are retired by the time though, it would still be cool for them to maybe come watch my games. Lastly, the reason I would invite my family to watch is because they do so much for me right now and it would be amazing to one day pay them back for this hard work and invite them to games for free. They would also either be courtside or in a really fancy sweet, and I know they will appreciate it just like I appreciate them. My dream job would 100% be in the NBA without a doubt.
24 Hours of Fun
If I was invisible for 24 hours, I might have one of the best days of my life. The first thing I would do is I would go to all the card shops nearby and just steal all the football and basketball cards. I would do this because I love collecting cards and they normally cost a lot of money so if I was invisible, I could just take as much as I wanted. It would be hours of fun and just make my day so much better. Next, I would go rob a bank and take so much money that I could become the richest person in the whole entire world. With this money I could also buy more sports cards when my invisibly wears off. The third thing I would do is go take like singular cards. Like graded cards or just really good ones like downtowns, uptowns, RPA’s, kabooms, 1/1’s, or just like really rare cards that cost a lot of money. I would finally have the best cards in the world and if I really wanted to, I could sell them for cash, but I probably wouldn’t since I have so much money from robbing a bank. I would also probably sneak into sports games which would be very fun. If I was invisible for 24 hours this is all the things I would do.
My Abandoned Island
Life on my abandoned island is alright. I really don’t know how I ended up here to be honest. All I could remember was that I was eating pizza with my friends at one of the best places in New York, all of us were having the best time of our lives but all the sudden this strange man comes and kidnaps us and takes us into this strange white plane. I couldn’t tell what was happening next but there was some gas coming pout of these pipes in the plane and I fell asleep as well as my friends. I woke up on the beach which is a bit weird. First thing I did was try and find my friends but none of them were on the island. It was just me all alone on this island. At first it was tough and I had to fight for food and water, but 20 years later, we were all good. The island looks amazing, I have a mansion that I built, I have amazing food that will last me years, and it basically looks like an island a celebrity would have. I finally have friends on the island and many people like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph curry coming to my island to party. I have security all around the island so nobody trashes it and messes anything up. The amazing clear ocean really makes the island way better. The island is getting better and better as time passes and I hope more celebrities come.
What This Quote Means To Me
The quote I chose from Dumbledore is, “We must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy.” This quote to me means, don’t just do what is easy, you have to put in the work and work hard to achieve your goals and be great. If you do what is easy, you may not go to far and never achieve your goals, basically you’re just taking a short cut and not going the full way. This quote shows me how to never take the short cut and take the time to put in the work. This relates to me since I play sports and I think it is very important to take time out of your day to practice your skills and try and get better. If you take these short cuts especially in the sports journey, you may not make it to your final destination and won’t be as good as the people you play against who actually put in the work and effort to get to where they wanna be. You can’t just make a big jump and think you’re going to go very far, you have to take small steps and build on that and keep building and building until you get to the spot. It’s really important to face what is easy and right so that you can go far and keeps up and maybe surpass the people you play against or are competing to beat.
A Card Addiction
I have an addiction to card and I don’t know how to stop buying and opening them. There is just something in opening a box of cards that just makes me happy. There are many things that make me happy like my family and friends but this is definitely one of the main ones. I’ve been collecting card for a while now, and I mean a while. I’m pretty sure I was like seven or eight when I open my first box of cards, I’m pretty sure. I remember my first decent pull was a Walt Frazier autograph card, but it wasn’t really that good but I went crazy. That card was only part of the journey. I’ve opened so many boxes from football to basketball and even 1900’s basketball backs where I pulled 3 Micheal Jordan’s in one day! That was an amazing day. I pulled another crazy card and was definitely my best. It was a 1/10 jersey match rookie Anthony Edwards from a select blaster box, and I call this a Christmas miracle since I had opened this on christmas eve. Over this past weekend, i had bought 11 mega boxes and definitely made my money back. Cards are one of the best things ever created and I always just always feel like opening a box of cards at anytime of the day.
Rad Reading – December
In December, I read the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney. Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules is a nonfiction book about a boy named Greg Heffley and his difficult relationship with his older brother, Rodrick. Greg has to deal with a lot already like middle school, family problems, and it makes it even harder to deal with all of that when he has a brother who had just learned an embarrassing secret about Greg that he needs to keep away from everyone else.
I really enjoyed this book because it feels somewhat relatable to me. Even thought I am the oldest brother I still feel some of the same things as Greg feels. Some of those things are the fact that he has to deal with middle school and so much more things, and all I want is my brother to not embarrass me all the time because it leaves a big thing I don’t need to worry about anymore off my list.
Greg is my favorite character, the reason I say this is because he is around the same age as me and there are many things I can relate to. One character trait that he has that I can relate to is that he is optimistic. A quote from the text that proves that he is optimistic is the time when his older brother, Rodrick found his secret diary and reads it, the quote is, “I didn’t exactly tell him not to tell anyone, I just kind of hoped he wouldn’t.” This quote shows that he is optimistic since he is hoping that things will happen in his favor and this may or may not be what will happen but he is just hoping for the best.
My favorite quote from the book is, “I thought I was done hearing about Rowley’s trip, but I was wrong. Yesterday, our Social Studies teacher asked Rowley to tell the class all about his vacation, and today he came to school wearing this ridiculous costume. But what was even WORSE was when some girls came up to Rowley at lunch and started kissing his butt.” (33). The reason this was my favorite quote is because it’s just so funny that Rowley isn’t trying to get girls and all that stuff and he is just having fun and being himself, but on the other hand Greg is trying to be “Mr Popular” and he is feeling jealous of Rowley that all the girls are talking to Rowley but not him.

My Hero
Somebody I look up to as my hero is my mom. One reason my mom is my hero is because she always looks at things with a good attitude. What I mean by this is if there is ever a problem she always finds a way to make the situation better. The second reason I think my mom is my hero is, she is always determined and works hard every single day to provide for us. Even if my mom is sick or doesn’t feel the best, she always works and makes sure that we eat and make it to our practice on time. When she has done all of this she goes straight back to work and takes barely any breaks. The last reason why I think my mom is my hero is because she always makes sure that everyone in the house is happy and is not sad about anything. If we are ever going through a hard time or anything, she always brings up positive things that can make us feel better about or just forget about the back things that happened. There are so many more reasons why I think my mom is my hero but if I had to only choose three of them, those would be the the three reason why I think my mom is my hero.
My word of intention for 2025 is
My word of intention for 2025 is focus. The reason I pick this word out of all words is because I think this is the one I need to work on the most, whether it’s in school or at home. I think I need to focus on this word because I don’t really focus in school and I never really know what to do after a teacher gives instructions about what to do. Another reason I need to focus is because if someone is telling me something important, I need to know what is happening since it might be an emergency and someone might need my help. The last reason I think I need to stay focused is because if my coach tells me to do anything in the game, I need to know what he says so I can translate it to the game. If I’m not paying attention and mess it up it could end up with me on the be and maybe me becoming a bench player. I think it’s really important for me to be focused at all times so I know what to do and can get the work done if anyone asks me to do it.
If I Was The Principal
I would love to be principal of the day! If our principal was out sick and was asked to be the principal of the day, I would make it the best day of school ever! In the beginning of the day I would give everyone a treat like candy as they walk in. I would do this since mostly all kids love candy and if some kids don’t then might as well just give it to ur friend. Also I would send an email out before saying that you don’t need to bring your binders and all that stuff so kids can get stuff off their shoulders and have less items to carry. They wouldn’t need it anyways! All of the periods for the day would be only be fifteen minutes long since break and lunch will be extended for kids to have more time to hang out with friends and just get all their energy out. This is important since all the kids can be calm and go on their devices for all the classes and not be so crazy. For lunch, everyone will either have Chick-fil-A or In and Out. There will be a truck outside so you can order yourself just in case some people wouldn’t like the stuff the school orders. Also you are able to chose what classes you want to go to for the day so you can have fun with friends and hang out. Everyone will be so happy by the end of the day that they will all thank me and on the way out they will all receive a free homework pass for each class and a extra credit pass for each pass. If I were ever elected to be principal for a day, this is what I would do to make the school better.
Rad Reading – November
In November, I read the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about a kid named Greg and is mostly about his life and the things he is experiencing, one of these experiences is going through middle school. Greg and his best friend, Rowley, are both in the same grade but very different characters as Rowley is a funny jokester and doesn’t care about popular or being cool, but on the other hand Greg want to fit right in and wants to be one of the most if not the most popular kid in the whole school.
I really enjoyed this book because I am also in middle school and it is cool to have a different perspective even thought this is not a real story. It is also a funny book and is the most enjoying book I have ever read. It is so easy to get into and makes you just want to read more and more. Also the author makes the book relatable at some parts in the book which is really cool.
Rowley is my favorite character. I say this because he doesn’t care about the middle school thing much and just acts like himself while Greg is bugging him about how he should be all childish and how he must do certain things to make it through the year. Rowley is an incident character who doesn’t really do anything wrong or anything to impress anyone he just does things for the fun of it. A quote that proves that he wants to just be himself is, “‘Knock Knock! Thermos! Thermos be some way to tickle you funny bone!’” This quote proves that he want to just he himself and tell jokes and have a great time but Greg is confused and is wondering what he was doing walking up to his door step telling jokes and not being cool like him. For these reasons, Rowley is my favorite character.
My favorite quote from “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” is, “Mom and Dad protect Manny like he’s a prince or something. And he never gets in trouble, even if he really deserves it. Yesterday, Manny drew a self-portrait on my bedroom door in permanent marker. I thought Mom and Dad were really going to let him have it, but as usual, I was wrong.” The reason this is my favorite quote is since I can really relate to this. Greg is saying they since Manny is the youngest child he is treated like he is the most important person in the world and I can relate to this since I also have a younger brother and I am always the one to get in trouble for the things he does! That’s crazy!
